Party Option #2 - ultimate Build-A-Party with Private Party Room

Minimum 10 Guests

The Private Party Room is $400 and holds up to 20 Guests. Fee includes a $50 donation to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Foundation to support beary important causes that help children and animals. Fee is for the room only and does not include other costs, such as dolls, clothing and accessories.

In addition to what you receive FREE in a New York City Build-A-Party, a private party room includes:

• Themed cake with juice, serves 20

• 3 favors from the Build-A-Favor™ cart and a beary cool drawstring backpack
• Special NYC Party Birth Certificate

• You can also have a 15 minute visit by our huggable mascot Bearemy^® or Pawlette Coufur^®, Fashion Advisor to the Furry Famous -for an additional $100.

Party Room Questions

How is the party room decorated for our party?

There are 4 tables and 20 chairs. The tables do not have party decorations because so much activity takes place on them. Because our friends 2B made New York City store is connected to the biggest Build-A-Bear Workshop^® store in the world, our sister store, our festive party room is decorated in bright colors and teddy bear themed décor. Each room will have the Guest of Honor’s name inside on a sign that says: “Make some noise fur (Guest of Honor’s name)”

I want to decorate the party room, can I bring in my own decorations?

Our rooms were created to be festive and no additional decorations are needed.

Can I bring a clown, or a mime, fortune teller, etc. to my ultimate Build-A-Party in the party room?

Additional entertainment is not allowed because your party time will be super stuffed with party fun and making your own stuffed animal friends.

To schedule an ultimate Build-A-Party, you need a minimum of 10 Guests. The party room holds up to 20 Guests. An ultimate Build-A-Party will typically take around 2 hours.

What security do you provide to your Guests?

The store is beary secure with on premise security. As to not compromise our security measures, we cannot disclose them to you.

What are the specific party favors that Guests can select from the party favor cart?

Our Build-A-Favor™ cart is stuffed with 12 different party favors that your Guests can choose from. Items range from picture frames, key chains and other beary fun stuff for kids. And each Guest gets a pawsome drawstring backpack to hold all of the fun favors!

Opening this fall, our Eat With Your Bear Hands Cafe will be able to provide fun, kid friendly food.

Food and drink from outside catering services are not allowed in our store.

Party Room Food and Refreshments:

What flavor is the cake that we can select for our party room party?

It’s a round cake that is vanilla with your choice of chocolate or vanilla icing.

What type of juice drinks are offered?

We offer yummy and healthy 100% fruit juice drinks for your Guests.

Can we select another drink instead of juice, such as milk or soda?

No additional drinks are offered at this time. When the Cafe opens this fall there will be other options.

I want to serve lunch or dinner to our party room Guests.

Can we have lunch or dinner in the party room? Cake, cupcakes and juice can be provided in the party rooms. For meals, we can make arrangement with the Cafe to hold a table – when it opens in the fall.

Eat With Your Bear Hands Cafe:

Do you take reservations at the Cafe?

Eat With Your Bear Hands Cafe does not take reservations; however, your party leader can coordinate with the Cafe so your Guests can be seated shortly after your party has ended.

What types of food do you offer?

In the teddy bear spirit of furry fun, at Eat With Your Bear Hands Cafe, we serve food that kids of all ages can eat with their hands. We serve foods kids of all ages love - hot dogs, chicken tenders, grilled cheese sandwich strips, assorted sandwiches and salads. Yummy side options include animal shaped fries and fruit pieces.

Do you offer kosher food?

Although we have many items that would be fine for a kosher diet, we are not a blessed kosher kitchen. We do have a kosher catering service that provides kosher food for the restaurant as well as celebratory cakes and cupcakes for the party rooms. Please let us know if you would like to see a menu for these services. Prices vary from the regular menu.
